U3A NORTHERN RIVERS

CHRISTMAS 2011

Some 120 members of U3A Northern Rivers enjoyed a gourmet lunch and lively conversations at the end-of-year party held on Tuesday, November 29, at the Ballina Jockey Club. Guests included executive members of three neighbouring U3As and the Mayor of Lismore (and U3A NR member) Jenny Dowell. All the tables were angled so that everyone could enjoy the elevated view over the race track and surrounding lawns. President Pat McLaren-Smith congratulated social organiser Delyce Rowe for her organisational work, including finding such an attractive new venue.
